Windows 8 build 7955 original installer leaked

We have earlier reported that Windows 8 Build 7955 has been leaked, but the leak used the Windows 7 installer. Today the guys at BetaArchive Forums has leaked Windows 8 build 7955 with the original installer. The original installer gives the metro UI feel and the screenshots of the original installer has been leaked long time back.

The size of the ISO file is 2.7GB and would be available on torrents soon.

Note:Many fake torrents are available on the net, so stay away from them unless you are sure that the torrent is legit.

Windows 8 immersive browser screenshots leaked

Windows 8 build 7955 has recently been leaked and the folks have started unlocking the features in this build.Recently Neowin has posted the screenshots of metro style “immersive Browser”. Here is what the site reads-

Not too much is known about the browser yet, but based on reports and screenshots that have leaked onto the web, the browser offers users a very limited UI and navigation bar. With only a couple of options including the back and forward history buttons, an address bar with favicon, a refresh button and favorites, the browser offers a compact browser without all the unnecessary bloat.

We would be posting more about it soon as how to unlock it and the Windows 8 Tweaker would be updated as well.

Today Windows 8 build 7955 has been leaked and is available for download on FTP at BetaArchive. The complete build string of this build is 6.2.7955.fbl_srv_wdacxml.110228-1930 and the build was compiled on 28th Feb much later then the Build 7850 which has been leaked earlier.According to the information available the Ultimate version of Windows 8 has been leaked this time.

Microsoft has started working on Windows 8 Milestone 3

We have already mentioned that Microsoft would be working on Windows 8 Milestone 3 from February 28th. According to the tweet by Roberto the latest Windows 8 build compiled is build 7956, which belongs to Milestone 3 category.The complete Build string is 6.2.7956.0.winmain_win8m3.110228-170 which states that the build was compiled on February 28.

Microsoft would continue to work on Windows 8 Milestone 3 for another four to five months and then they would finally be releasing the Beta version of Windows 8. We are expecting some major feature and UI changes in Milestone 3 and hope to get more info about it soon.
