WP7 Game Review : Pandas V/S Ninjas (Free)

The Windows Phone 7 marketplace is flooded with a bunch of Angry Birds Clones, most successful being the Chicks ‘n’Vixens , in spite of being a Clone app it’ had a successful run over the Marketplace for quite a while now.

Though the  official Angry Birds  release is right around the corner(25th may) that wont stop the wanna be’s to try their luck with yet another Clone. Here comes Pandas V/s Ninjas. As the name suggests the battle is now between Pandas and the Ninjas.Game play is similar to Angry Birds but more like the Chicks’n’ Vixens with the Pandas Throwing the panda with hand looks deceptively similar to what we get to do in Chicks’n’ Vixens.

Good thing about this game is that the graphics and the overall gameplay is much more polished than  Chicks’n’ Vixens.Talking about the gameplay,it involves throwing the Pandas over the Ninjas floating over/inside various obstacles.Like the original Angry Birds, this one also has a various different Pandas with super powers, like the one Super Panda which powers it’s way to the target just like the Yellow Angry Bird and the Black Panda with a Time bomb doing the Bursting Black Bird (with a 3 second time for blast).

The Special Ninja Music is pleasing to the ears and the eye catching backgrounds for each levels are quite amusing. Each of the games stages has 25 levels and according to the scores of each level a medal is given to the player(Bronze,Silver or Gold). The animations and other graphics in the game are as good as if not better than Angry Birds. The game has potentially a lots of replay value ,just like the other games in the same genre.

The game released a few weeks ago at the price tag of 0.99$  over WP7 marketplace, but now you can enjoy the(ad supported version) Free version on your phone.Go Get It,if you are a die hard Angry Birds Fan!!! ,it’ll keep you hooked up till 25th May(Angry Bird for WP7 Release date) and even if you are not well when it’s Available for Free only a fool can ignore this beauty.I bet even if you are new to these type of games, you’ll fall in love with Pandas V/s Ninjas for sure Smile .

Our Verdict : (3.5/5) (would’ve given it 4 out of 5 had there been a worldwide leaderboard for players to submit their scores).
