Windows Live Messenger (formarly MSN Messenger)has been the integral part of the Windows users for over a decade and half.

But with the Skype aquisition last year,it’s time to say good bye to the Windows Live Messenger. As reported earlier on Skype blog, that the company will retire Windows Live Messenger in first quarter of 2013 (except for mainland china)and the existing messenger users can move to Skype using their Microsoft IDs(Windows Live,Outlook,Hotmail) to make the transition easy.

The integration feature is now available for the latest version of Skype 6.0 for Windows and Mac.
