It was just Yesterday hat we reported about Home Shopping Network selling Windows 8 based laptops and All in One devices from Acer and Gateway,two weeks before the actual public release of Windows 8.

But Now HSN has pulled off  the Windows 8 deals from their site.As reported earlier by Neowin,who contacted Microsoft regarding this and one of the Microsoft Spokesperson Stated that,

Unfortunately, HSN made this offer without the support or authorization of Microsoft. Microsoft and major retailers are getting ready for general availability of Windows 8 devices on 10/26 and not prior to that date. Once Microsoft learned of the HSN promotion, we contacted them and asked that they discontinue the on-air and online offer since it is not yet 10/26, the date that marks the official availability of Windows 8.

The response from Microsoft also included the Statement from Acer’s US operations VP Scott Ledterman,he said,

 “We are excited to support Windows 8 with great Acer and Gateway offerings starting on October 26, but this HSN offer came prematurely and we’ve requested its immediate removal.”

So after this HSN had to pull off the Windows 8 tablet and AIO’s. Deals from the site and we will not see any such offers from the site before 26th October.
