Windows Store Open For Developers in 120 Markets

Last week we reported that Windows  Store has crossed 1,000 apps mark,but the store was restricted for a limited number of developers for the initial few days.

Now as officially announced by Microsoft,the Windows Store is open for  developers over 120 different markets worldwide.Starting fro 12th september the Windows Store will roll out for 82 more markets,reaching up to the tally of 120 markets worldwide,here is the Complete List of Windows Store Markets worldwide.

On this  occasson they also announced new subscriptions for the developers,

  We’re also announcing a number of additional subscription program offerings that recognize and thank developers for their interest and commitment to Windows. All eligible MSDN subscribers receive a free, one-year Windows Store developer account as part of their MSDN benefits. (Eligible subscriptions include Visual Studio Professional, Test Professional, Premium, Ultimate, and BizSpark.) We have a program for students—DreamSpark—that similarly waives the subscription fee. And we have an offer for businesses in our BizSpark program, as well.

 

With the Global Roll Out happening just weeks away from the public release of Windows 8,we can expect some more quality apps for the launch.
