It’s been a busy week as far as samsung is concerned.At the recent IFA event  in Berlin they showcased several of their upcoming devices along with some of the prototype devices like the dual screen laptop which we reported about yesterday.

But that is not the only Samsung prototype which made it to the IFA event.One of the series 9 laptop prototype from the company which was spotted at the event.The laptop running on Windows 8 sported a kind of a retina display with resolution of 2560×1440(WQHD resolution) for its 13″ display size with a matte finish,which is a huge step forward as compared to the existing Series 9 laptops from Samsung which sport a maximum resolution of 1,600 x 900.

Though it still falls short to the Apple’s Mac Book Pro Retina Display which marks the resolution of 2880×1800,but is still a better one than many other competitors ultrabooks.Since this is also a prototype device like the dual screen display laptop,there are no details about the release date or a price point for this one.
