HP Spectre One,Windows 8 AIO Device Announced

Over the past couple of weeks we have seen many of the upcoming Windows 8 based devices coming from various hardware partners like, Samsung,Acer,Fujitsu and others.

HP which is also one of the major Windows 8 partners,has recently announced  their desktop offering for  Windows 8,starting off with their All in One Windows 8 device named “Spectre”.

The device sports a big 23.6″ display screen,With 11.5 mm of thickness(thinnest AIO from  HP till date).Though this feature comes with a cost of a non touch screen based display,so users will not be able o take advantage of the touch features of Windows 8 via the screen.Though they have provided a wireless Touchpad using which users can perform Multitouch Gestures with their Windows 8 operating system.The device also sports an NFC chip,so that you can pair all your NFC enabled devices with the AIO.

Talking about the hardware specifications of the device,it is powered by the Intel Ivy Bridge  processors and also sport a dedicated NVidia 1GB graphics card?There are total 4 USB ports,two each of USB 2.0 and USB 3.0,an HDMI port!gigabit ethernet port and Wifi?

The device will start shipping in November with a starting price of $1299.
