Windows 8 RTM Already Signed Off ?

There’s no stopping the rumors as far as the Windows 8 RTM is concerned. We have had a fare share of some of the rumors over past couple of weeks, with build numbers being finalized and quite recently the newly added feature in Start Screen which allows custom background pictures.

The latest one comes around just hours before the official release of Windows 8 RTM,as reported earlier by Winunleaked in their recent Windows 8 Build List, that the build 9200.16384.win8_rtm.120725-1247 which is said to be the final RTM build for Windows 8 has been signed off.

Though there is no official word on the build number as well as the exact launch date for Windows 8 RTM apart from the first week of August release date which was announced a few weeks ago by Microsoft. But recent rumors suggest that the Windows 8 could hit RTM on the very first day of august. We will have to play the waiting game till we get a official word on the release.

Windows 8 was signed off a long time ago… whenever Microsoft came up with the “ingenious” plan to build Surface. Consider this, Microsoft intentionally made XP, Vista, and 7 (especially the latter two) bloated and messy to make people think the desktop was “old” and “unfit for the modern world.” Then they could come in and solve everyone’s problems with the magical Surface. Microsoft is actually far ahead of where they lead us to believe that they are. Likely, Windows 9 is probably finished already… as is the successor to Surface.

Sure. Lets go with that. Or we can all agree that Microsoft made a mistake with Vista, fixed that mistake with Windows 7 and then improved their tablet market with Windows 8. Windows 9 is probably only in very basic alpha stages.

Windows 7 was Microsoft’s way of buying time. Windows 8 and the move to Metro was just taking too long and they were losing too much with Vista. Thus, they needed a quick fix to keep their market share.

You are all ruled by the media. Is there any real significant difference between 7 and Vista? No. The media said Vista was bad, so everyone else assumed it was. Then the media said 7 was “omg like totally amazing man”. And now look, all of you are saying the exact same thing.

Anyone who actually knows a thing about computers knows that 7 is exactly the same as Vista, but with a different taskbar and the turquoise line removed from the bottom of Aero window frames. That is it.

If you think an organization as big and powerful as Microsoft is not keeping equally big secrets then you are foolish. Look how well they kept the Surface hidden up until the exact moment they wanted to debut it.

No, Windows 8 did NOT sign of a Long time ago… look at the build string: “9200.16384.win8_rtm.120725-1247″, the last 2 “parts” tell us the build’s date. 25.07.2012 12:47 WA time zone, around 1 week ago. And since this build got TESTED and such stuff, it took even longer to sign it off. It is/was not a long time ago, some hours maybe…
