Windows 8 Released to Manufacturers yesterday,so that all the biggies who are planning to bring their Windows based tablets, laptops, ultrabooks and the all in one’s when it releases to public on 26th October can prepare their devices for the mega launch.

Being one of the integral hardware partners of all the companies for processors Intel is quite busy too,as we reported a few days ago that Intel is planning as many as 20 tablets for Windows 8 launch.Recently Navin Shenoy, the VP of Intel’s Architecture Group talking at the company’s Ultrabook symposium in Taipei this week said that there will be as many as 40 Windows 8 Ultrabooks by the end of this year, all will sport a touch screen based display.
So there will be an intense battle amongst the Windows 8 ultra-books and tablet manufacturers as well as the other tablets manufacturers who have their android based tablets waiting in the pipeline for the release later this year.As the competition heats up we can expect a newly reduced price range for ultrabooks with pricing dropped down to sub $ 700 .
