[Video]Toshiba’s Windows RT Based Tablet Shown Off

Over the past few days at Computex many of the Windows 8 tablets were shown off,one of which was from the Texas Instruments which showed off their upcoming Windows RT based tablet at the event, but due to strict instructions by Microsoft they were only allowed to show the Start Screen.

Recently at their Media event Texas Instruments they demonstrated an upcoming Windows RT based tablet of Toshiba, which runs on a OMAP 4470 SoC (which consists of two ARM Cortex A9s and PowerVR SGX544MP1),AnandTech got hold of the Video of the same as well as they posted their own demonstration of the tablet.

As far as the performance is concerned the ARM processor performs exceedingly well on the WinRT platform courtesy the OMAP4470 which runs on native Direct3D 9_3 on a PowerVR SGX544,though there were a few touch calibration glitches but the overall performance was above par as compared to the previous WOA demos so far,so its a positive sign as far as the Windows RT based tablets are concerned.
