We are just months away from the official release of Windows 8,which is expected to be released in the 4th quarter of this year.So it’s about time to start off with the speculations about the release dates, build numbers of the final build and other details about Windows 8.

A new rumor coming from Wzor who has a history of leaking vital information for Windows 8,claims that the build of Windows 8 RTM will be  8500.0.120623-1707.The sources also claimed that Microsoft will be making an official announcement about the RTM,the announcement is expected sometime between 17-20.

Coincidentally there are two Microsoft events lined up during the similar time frame,one at 19th where they will announce their earnings reports and from 17th to 20th there will be MGX event so the announcement is expected in the MGX event.
