MetroTwit a popular twitter client for the desktops is now available for Windows 8 version and is now available for download over the Windows Store.

As the name suggests this app Features an interface inspired by the Metro UI and as the desktop version of the popular app,this Metro version does the justice to it as well.The Metro based Twitter client has all the features one would need in a twitter client with a clean and intuitive interface.

According to the developer Long Zheng the application is still in it early stages,labeling this release as a preview release(so expect some initial glitches),said in a post that it wasn’t a cake walk to just copy paste the code of the desktop version porting it to the WinRT version,then some of the experienced Microsofties came to the rescue to help him port this awesome app to the Windows 8 platform.
