New Screenshots Show Charm Bar In Windows 8 Build 8158

PCBeta has posted images of another leaked build of Windows 8, build 8158. This time around they have displayed an updated “Longhornesq” charm bar on the right side of the screen, and unlike the Windows Developer Preview, it’s brought out by bringing the mouse to bottom-right of the screen.

As you can see from above screenshot, now you can get on with your work while updates of IE are being installed with the addition of new fetaure “Install new versions automatically” option. However, there are still doubts of whether it will require any restarts after successful installation.

The fact that the Control Panel icon has been placed on the desktop by the leakers of these screenshots, could mean that accessing it from the Start button is still a tedious exercise for desktop users, perhaps indicating that it still links to the Metro styled “apps” screen.

At the moment Windows 8 is one perfect horse crap.

Man, I’m really looking forward to Windows 8 if Microsoft do it right! Developers also need to help as much as possible :P

I really didn’t like the developer preview to be honest. One of their goals is to make it easier to do everyday tasks right? If anything, Windows 8 has made it a load harder. I think they should use the ‘Charm bar’ to access the start screen and bring back the original start menu that we all know and love to its original place!

That way it allows users to ease into the new interface without completely destroying what we’re used to. I’m sure desktop users will appreciate this more.

they need to give the choice to start in desktop mode or metro start menu and if your using the desktop to give you the option of using the start menu or going for the metro menu… it shouldn’t be forced onto you.

  • Whatever

Already these retarded menus in windows 8 tell me keep away from this shitty OS, also its full of useless shit that no1 ever need like IE10 etc…

Cheat is the only skill of microsoft. It only likes to copy all of the new techs and techniques from other products. As you can see the new parts of windows8 is taken from Ubuntu.
