Windows 8 latest build, build 8011

We have been continuously reporting about all the Windows 8 builds which has been compiled, today MSFTtm has tweeted that the latest build compiled is build 8011 with build string as 6.2.8011.0.winmain.110520-1745. The build string states that the build was compiled recently on May 20. Some other builds compiled recently which has been reported by us are-

6.2.8006.0.winmain.110513-1855
6.2.8005.0.winmain.110512-1726
6.2.7996.0.winmain.110429-1810

Update: We are getting reports that people have uploaded torrents and in the readme file they are using Windows8beta.com name, we would like to say that we dont upload any torrents and all such information is fake, stay away from them

It’s harder to get screenshots of Windows 8 anymore. Microsoft put an end to it. This will hurt them in the long run as these screenshots were actually advertisements for Windows 8.

I dunno what all the hype is about we all know that more or less every other windows OS is crap look at the history ME crap, XP good, Vista crap, Windows 7 good….we can only assume windows 8 will be crap when it is first released i’m sure it will have more eye candy then windows 7…think leopard window animations etc. Although truth be told microsoft can’t afford to put out crap OS’s anymore because there are plenty of other viable options out there now for people to choose from…hint hint microsoft don’t release the damn OS until its completely ready in all aspects especially security and stability

  u know…having good hardware makes any windows os just fine. i used all of those with no problems. maybe stay away from OEMs and build ur own rig. oh wait…lemme guess. u do that already and its still crap…hmmm. I dont have that problem. :)

    Windows ME & Vista are renown for their bugs and are technically flawed. It has absolutely nothing to do with the hardware. They just suck.

      I used both window ME and Vista since their release and never had any problems. Sure Vista was a memory hog, but apart from the over protective UAC (which i disabled straigth away) i never had any problems.

      Same here used both ME & Vista both ran great no

      ME was a Hugh improvement over Win 98 it needed Tweaking
      like all Windows OS’s especially back then its big flaw if you want to call it
      a flaw was not running old crappy applications and DOS games I liked Win ME installed
      it in many computers with no problems.
      
      Both were great OS’s but the Rat squad that love Linux and
      Mac will always bash any Windows OS as crap.
      
      Xp is so out dated compared to Win 7 buck up and get it
      before you show your ignorance.
      
      No software company can survive without new products coming
      out on a regular basis but improvement is always needed to get the sale Win 7
      is vastly improved over XP.

    I built a number of machines for a recording studio years ago, all ran fine as long as ME was not loaded on, terrible! buggy for some, fine for others. Vista x64 ran fine for me, no issues at all, love Win7, runs superb on my “self built” pc………..Also, how do you define “good hardware”

The RAR file (got from the torrent ISO) refuses to be unpacked with the password got from the supplied link. Now using RAR File Open Knife last build released (after havin’ already tried with latest builds of WinRAR and 7-Zip into Win 7 Ultimate SP1 fully updated). What a bad joke spreaded all over the torrent networks.

Has anyone seen a computer at any store that comes with Windows 8? No, would be the correct answer. No versions of Windows 8, even if someone has built one themselves, will even be remotely safe for you computer until Microsoft themselves release a version for builders.

Also, every version of Windows has both good and bad points. However, if you are not a complete retard who downloads every program you see on the net, or one of the ones who fills your computer full of pornographic material, all versions of Windows will work just fine. I’ve used them all without any problems.

  venders fault supplying bad drives or no driver updates for their products HP
  was bad not supplying updated drives for years for their printers, scanners and
  so on and there is a lot of badly coded software out there.
  
  I installed Win ME in many a computer with no problems back
  then best thing is always check for drivers before you upgrade a computer to a
  new OS so you understand what new devices you may need to upgrade with the new
  OS.
